Dry needling is the use of single use, sterile needles that are inserted into specific points of muscle tissue, and its goal is to reduce pain, deactivate trigger points and restore function. At Back in strength it is usually part of a broader treatment by the physiotherapist, if you wish this to be part of your treatment procedure, let our friendly receptionists know, so they can book you in with the appropriate physiotherapist.
Yes, we are happy to accept DVA clients. Please ask your GP for a D904 form so you will be eligible for cover. If you have a gold card, your programme is covered, as it is provided by physiotherapists. We require a current D904 referral from your GP. We can then assess you and begin to start you on a relevant exercise or balance program. If you hold a relevant white card, we can still cover your treatment if it relates to your specific injury site.

Please be sure to bring your GP referral along with you when you attend our clinic so that we can process this for you.
