Train with purpose. Build strength that actually carries over into real life and sport.
Are you looking to improve your strength, fitness, or physical performance in a structured and supported way? Our Strength & Conditioning classes are designed to help you progress safely, effectively, and with clear direction.
Whether your goal is to get stronger, return to sport, improve general fitness, or reduce injury risk, these physio-led sessions ensure your training is targeted and evidence-based—not random or repetitive.
Each class is guided by a physiotherapist, focusing on technique, load management, and progressive programming so you can train hard while staying safe and consistent.
What is Strength & Conditioning?
Strength & Conditioning at Back in Strength is a structured, physio-led exercise program designed to help you build strength, improve movement, and progress toward your personal goals in a safe and effective way.
Each program runs over a set block of time, allowing us to progressively build your strength and fitness over 6–8 weeks before introducing new challenges and variations. This ensures consistent progression and meaningful results, rather than random or repetitive training.
Classes focus primarily on resistance-based exercise using weights, machines, and bodyweight movements. The program is designed around key movement patterns and muscle groups, helping you develop full-body strength, mobility, and control.
While the class structure is consistent, exercises are selected with purpose and can be adapted to suit different levels, from those new to strength training through to more experienced participants.
Each session typically includes a series of supersets (paired exercises) targeting different areas of the body, with a strong focus on technique, load progression, and movement quality.
Before joining, you’ll discuss your goals with your physiotherapist, whether that’s improving everyday function, returning to activity, or building confidence with strength training. Your program is designed to support those goals over the course of each training block.
Why choose our S&C classes?
Physio-led, not generic training
Your program is designed and supervised by physiotherapists, ensuring every exercise has purpose and supports your movement, strength, and injury risk reduction.
Structured progression
We use set training blocks so you can build strength progressively over time, rather than doing random or unstructured workouts each week.
Individual goals in a group setting
While classes follow a structured format, we take your goals and ability into account so you’re always working at the right level for you.
Focused on real-world results
Whether it’s lifting, climbing stairs, returning to sport, or improving everyday function, training is designed to translate into meaningful improvements outside the clinic.
Technique and safety first
We prioritise correct movement patterns, load management, and safe progression so you can train confidently and consistently.
